What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

It's been a while since I have submitted, so it was nice to get back to coding even though I am a little rusty after spending a few weeks with WordPress. I think it came out pretty good, hopefully the design matches what I built.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

    Just shaking off the rust.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Anything to improve and get better. Love to learn!

The accordion part was a great exercise and I learned a lot. Open to feedback of any kind to help make this better!

    Thank you!

Had a tough time with the background lining up and the size of the desktop version overall. Not sure how to build without the figma files, it's just really a guess? Do you all have the same struggles? I think it looks ok but felt a little wobbly building it vs the component challenges.

Would love any feedback or suggestions. Thanks!

What I found difficult about this was after I laid out all the boxes, the content was too tall for the window even though I was trying to match it to the design. Maybe would have helped to have dimensions from figma files which I didn't have. Other than that it seemed like it went well.

Always open to feedback to improve, thank you!

    It actually went pretty well.

I think the media query could be more clear. Felt like I was going around adding px here and there. Probably a better way?

Open to hearing how to improve this code.

    Thanks!

Card component itself went pretty well.

Really struggled with the background. No real questions but open to suggestions on how to be better and write cleaner code.

    Thanks!

Getting better with the centering, these have been great exercises for me.

The overlay cyan hover part was tricky. It works, but I'm not sure I understand 100% why. But I think a pretty good first attempt.

One question is I feel like the one I'm building is matching up with the design I see but when I submit it, it's always quite a bit off in size. Is there something I am missing? (I don't have the figma files but thought I would be a lot closer?)

Love any feedback and how I can improve, thank you!

Still working on centering DIVS but I think I'm getting better at it.

This challenge didn't look like it had a desktop and a mobile version? I see the info in the style guide says:

The designs were created to the following widths:

    Mobile: 375px Desktop: 1440px

But both look mobile. Am I missing something? I only did the desktop version. Would love to know if I missed something. Thanks!

I think the one thing I struggled with on this one was in the mobile version, if you open the window up or down (vertical), the bars in the summary section collapse and/or the gap gets wider. Is there a way to make it so it sticks to the same height or do I want it to be flexible like this?

Any thoughts on best practices, I'm all for wanting to improve!

    Thanks!

Pretty good exercise in just trying to build things from scratch vs watching tutorials. Challenging and hopefully I got pretty close.

Struggled with the responsiveness with the photo and text. Doesn't look great in between the two and not sure how to fix it. Would love suggestions, maybe I took the wrong approach? Thanks!

It went pretty well. I got a little hung up on the min-height: 100vh; part and how it wouldn't center top to bottom until I added a border and saw that it was centered but I wasn't giving it the full height. I don't have any questions but would love any feedback if anyone had some. Thanks!
