What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I am proud at my attempt at using grid, but to me, this isn't finished yet. This is my first time trying to use grid and I really need to review it. I don't know if I am just making a simple mistake. Will really need some feedback. I might start this one all over again after reviewing grid.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I didn't use grid or flexbox for this, I used floats. I think I properly used float concepts and have properly contained floated elements. I had no difficulties using floats in this project.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I had a big problem getting my main section centered. Probably because I didn't put a width on it, so it was getting bigger on bigger screens.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

understanding how to properly apply display: block, margin: 0 auto

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I gained more experience using flexbox in this project. I learned that it was better to group some cards together. I originally didn't have the cards grouped. I still want to know if I could have used flex, basis, shrink, or grow in this project. I think I applied flex-wrap correctly

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I was confused about exactly which flexbox settings to apply.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I would like more help with flexbox layouts

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I pushed myself to trying to use and understand media queries, though there is still lots to learn.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I think I am having a problem with the cache on my browser. The website looked good until I published it. This made me spend a long time on my code thinking that there was a problem there instead. I eventually checked the website on other devices and it worked as intended. I am not sure what is the problem, but I suspect it has something to do with my vpn

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I need a lot of practice when it comes to building responsive websites properly.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I am proud that it didn't take me long to do this.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I had some slight problems in CSS because I forgot to set the max-width. Perhaps my image is a little too big? It doesn't look good on desktop full screen. It is blurry.

    image resizing

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

It was easier to understand most of the design styles and requirements for this project because it is my second one. I didn't understand the 'active states' requirements though. I just took a wild guess and added hover to some elements.

I really need to understand responsiveness though. I am still not sure when to use media queries. I will review this concept in my own time.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Not so many challenges, except when I didn't pay attention to my screen zoom settings. I thought I had some css problems but I checked and say my screen was zoomed out to about 75%.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

    Responsiveness and media queries

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I am most proud that it didn't take me long to complete the project and I was able to do it without any help. I also learned about using new tools such as Figma. It gave me a chance to understand more about design files.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I wasn't sure about the font-sizes to use. I had to guess on the font-size for the h1 element.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

not sure when I should ever use px.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

This is the first time I have designed a project using a mobile first approach. What I did was make my desktop width to the smallest width that it could go and design the mobile design. After completing the mobile design, it seemed that the desktop design naturally fell into place. I had only used to desktop accordian background svg I didn't think it was necessary to add the mobile svg background pic. I am not so good at working with responsive website. So I am practicing here.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I am still not sure on when to use em, rem, and %.

It also seems like the desktop design naturally came into place. Is this how it is supposed to work?

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Responsiveness suggestions and approaches to using width and margins and paddings and such

I am new to programming and I might be a bit of a slow learner. I believe the only way to truly learn is by doing, so I have decided to do a little bit more doing instead of only learning.

I knew my solution would not be the best. I just wanted to get my hands on the keyboard and do some projects and make an attempt to at least get it to look like the design I was shown.

I still have a lot to learn and a lot of practicing to do. I don't seem to have a good grasp on the basics. I used margins, and flexbox, just buy guessing and trying to get it to look at least like the desktop design.

Searching things on the web have assisted me with that approach.

Some of the main resources that people use, such as "Font-awesome" is blocked where I am located now(China) so I had to search the web to find other resources for things such as icons, etc.

I will do better on my next project.
