What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Having issues where when I used the illustration images svg, somehow the displayed image would have additional white space either at the top or bottom. I ended up getting rid of the padding in my desktop design to get rid of the extra whitespace, although this causes my final design to not have padding unlike the desired design

This submission is NOT complete. I found the share section part for the desktop design to be incredibly challenging. I'll need to come back in the future for this.

The quotation mark that's supposed to be part of the purple card background doesn't show up in production, but it shows up in dev mode. Currently still troubleshooting this.

I'm quite comfortable with flexbox but definitely not as comfortable with the grid system. Took me a while to understand how to use the grid system, especially modifying the column and rows layout

This is the first assignment for responsive web design learning path, so I was exposed to a lot of responsive concepts (em, rem, vh, vw, media queries). I'm not used to it yet so it was challenging to make use of these concepts and tools to a project for the first time.

Before submission, I realized I forgot to include css reset in the project. Once I applied css reset, there were significant changes to the appearance so I had to redo most of the css code.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I modified submission to make it my own, uses my own information and profile picture. I also added a dark-light theme switch feature. Although the code implementation for the theme switch could be improved to be more modular.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Implementing my own features, in this case the theme switching feature. It's just about persistence of trial-error and google search / asking AI.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Good practices on how I can organize my css code for attributes that belong to dark mode and light mode in a way to reduce code duplication.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I'm starting to get the hang of CSS, it doesn't seem as bad as I thought. Although this is just my second project on this whole FE Mentor platform. Next time I'll try to see if I can incorporate more animations.

Took me a bit to figure out the animation and box shadow part. Had to look around on the internet and asked AI for some guidance.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I've never liked CSS before. I finally managed to face my fears and complete this simple project, which I think is a good beginning steps.

I haven't learned enough to know what I'd do differently next time. I'll see if I can learn more and figure out what I'd need to do different as I go
