What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

Hello, here is my solution for this really cool project :)

I'm very proud of how much my website looks like compared to the original design ! Moreover, I think that the responsiveness is pretty decent. Also, I used "localStorage" to keep the amount of the product to the cart even if the user leaves the page !

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Concerning the challenges, I made a "focus" section by clicking on wide product pictures (rather than having the same section with a slider etc...). I tried but it was too complicated for me...

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I would like you to tell me if my code (whether HTML, CSS or JavaScript) is correct ? Maybe also if there is a section that I could have done differently ?

I will take all the help I can get ! Thanks for taking a look at my solution :)

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

Hello, here is my solution for this challenge :)

I'm pretty proud of the way my website looks compared to the original design ! Also, I think that I have done the JavaScript side well (check all inputs, display the errors, etc...). Finally, I added a small animation on cards (front & back) when the user submit the form thanks to "pseudo-elements".

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

In my opinion, responsiveness could be improved. In fact, I used a lot of "media queries" and all sizes are fixed with pixels.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I think that I need help concerning responsiveness... Maybe that my code is not relevant for that ? For now, I don't know.

I will take all the help you give me :) Thank you.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

Hello ! Here is my solution for this great challenge :)

I'm quite proud of my website design, which is very similar to the original design. Also, I have implemented some elements in order to have a good accessibility (like "alt" on images, "tabindex", etc...). Finally, I have put animations on different elements such as links, creation cards, and more !

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I think that responsiveness is pretty good, but not perfect...

In fact, I have used a lot of "media queries" to get the correct design. So I can optimize that for future challenges !

Also, to display good images depending on user device (desktop / mobile), I have put "display: none" on those I don't want. However, I have found that I can use "srcset" on images... It's another thing that I have to work on :)

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Are my HTML, CSS and JS files well written (no errors, can be optimized, etc...) ?

I spent between 8 and 10 hours on this challenge... is it too long ?

    Please help me :)

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

Hello ! Here is my solution for this project :) My solution is very similar to the original design, so I'm quite proud of it. Also, I have tried to bring a good accessibility (especially by adding alternative texts for images with "alt", keyboard navigation with "tabindex", etc...). At the same time, I have implemented some animation effects for the links, menu and CTA button. Throughout the website files, I have put comments in order to explain certain points.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Concerning my main challenges, I can talk about the responsive. Indeed, I'm not very strong on this essential aspect... However, I think that I have done something quite satisfying (expect for wide screens) by using "media queries" in CSS.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I have some questions concerning my solution.

    1. Is my HTML correctly semantic ? For exemple, is the use of "article" tags relevant (at the beginning, I used the "section" tag in the "news" element) ?

    2. Is my CSS clean ? Maybe there are some useless properties...

    3. Is the responsive aspect well done ?

    4. What are your global thoughts about my solution to this project ? I invite you to rate out of 10 :)

Thanks for reading ! I will take all the help I can get.

    Hi everyone !

Here is my solution for this wonderful project :)

I can tell you I'm proud of this one ! I've added a few things to glorify the original design (but it's mostly to practice on even more stuff).

Let me know what you think !!!

Here's my solution for this project :)

I think it looks very much like the original design.

The responsive wasn't easy for me, although I feel it looks pretty good.

Let me know what you think !

Hello ! Here's my solution to this project :)

I'm really not a professional, but rather a beginner (I started web development about 1 and a half years ago).

This is my first Frontend Mentor solution, so I thought I'd start with something that wasn't too difficult.

Please don't hesitate to give me feedback, for example on the resemblance to the initial design or the quality of the code. I'd really appreciate it.

    Thank you very much!
