Solution retrospective
What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
Hello ! Here is my solution for this project :) My solution is very similar to the original design, so I'm quite proud of it. Also, I have tried to bring a good accessibility (especially by adding alternative texts for images with "alt", keyboard navigation with "tabindex", etc...). At the same time, I have implemented some animation effects for the links, menu and CTA button. Throughout the website files, I have put comments in order to explain certain points.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
Concerning my main challenges, I can talk about the responsive. Indeed, I'm not very strong on this essential aspect... However, I think that I have done something quite satisfying (expect for wide screens) by using "media queries" in CSS.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?
I have some questions concerning my solution.
-
Is my HTML correctly semantic ? For exemple, is the use of "article" tags relevant (at the beginning, I used the "section" tag in the "news" element) ?
-
Is my CSS clean ? Maybe there are some useless properties...
-
Is the responsive aspect well done ?
-
What are your global thoughts about my solution to this project ? I invite you to rate out of 10 :)
Thanks for reading ! I will take all the help I can get.
