Design comparison
Solution retrospective
Hello ! Here is my solution for this project :) My solution is very similar to the original design, so I'm quite proud of it. Also, I have tried to bring a good accessibility (especially by adding alternative texts for images with "alt", keyboard navigation with "tabindex", etc...). At the same time, I have implemented some animation effects for the links, menu and CTA button. Throughout the website files, I have put comments in order to explain certain points.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?Concerning my main challenges, I can talk about the responsive. Indeed, I'm not very strong on this essential aspect... However, I think that I have done something quite satisfying (expect for wide screens) by using "media queries" in CSS.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I have some questions concerning my solution.
-
Is my HTML correctly semantic ? For exemple, is the use of "article" tags relevant (at the beginning, I used the "section" tag in the "news" element) ?
-
Is my CSS clean ? Maybe there are some useless properties...
-
Is the responsive aspect well done ?
-
What are your global thoughts about my solution to this project ? I invite you to rate out of 10 :)
Thanks for reading ! I will take all the help I can get.
