💻 Hello, Frontend Mentor Community,
This is my solution for the Tip Calculator. 🛠️ Built with:
HTML ✨ CSS 🎨 JavaScript 🧾
Fully responsive design crafted with a mobile-first approach 📲 Different errors were handled and visualized. I tried to pay attention to the refactoring of the code and good practices.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?Css still a bit struggle. It was challenging to look into details for error handling and to find right points when to reset the errors and changes.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?Feedback is always welcome—let’s grow together! 🌱
@gitVikas898Posted 4 months agoNice work ! , I think the css needs to be fixed cause page looks a bit odd with a scroll bar + the border in in custom tip makes the ui bouncy try fixing that

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I didn't write any code in the mobile version. Because it seems almost the same at both version. So, is this ok ?
@gitVikas898Posted 4 months agoYour card width seems a bit odd plus there is a scroll bar when there is only one card on the screen

Me orgulho de conseguir fazer esse projeto sem nenhuma ajuda, só com minhas anotações de aula. Eu mudaria pra uma imagem o card amarelo, e tambem faria tudo usando React.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?Esquecimento, eu pesquisei nas minha sanotações e internet.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?Css, ainda sinto que tenho muita dificuldade na prática.

First time really using CSS Grid, I'd probably use it more often now. I think it came out pretty well. I would start with mobile first next time. Struggling with that currently.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?I'm struggling with a starting point with mobile. When the project is mobile and desktop only, looking for some best practices to start and then when it transitions into the next size not have it look so wonky. I haven't overcome this yet, but I'd love to figure it out.

@gitVikas898Posted 5 months agohey Julie your solution looks good , and yes I agree grids are good and should be used more often , with that thing whether to choose mobile or desktop first , I would say from a personal exp , give yourself more time and keep practicing here with each challenge you'll get better and eventually you will know which one to choose first!
