What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I had a really hard time trying to design this whole page but I somehow managed to build this. I was able to organize my code properly even though I am not much proud about this project.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Figuring out the layout was really the hardest part of the challenge and even though I managed to make it responsive for most devices I failed to do so for devices smaller than 450 pixels.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I really need you guys to review my code and tell me how I can fix the overflow of the page for devices that have 450 pixels or less. And also, I have no idea why the text color in the footer section is black even though I fixed the color.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I don't know why but this challenge took me a long time even though I was able to figure out the layout easily. Should I be considered of this? I would appreciate if you guys could review my code and give me suggestions and feedback. 😊

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I designed the layout easily by using CSS Flexbox and Grid for the trackers. The script was also easy, but I had to write a lot of code but honestly, I think I could have done a bit better. 😔

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I usually use a lot of flexboxes due to its flexibility in different occasions specially when using different media queries but this time I decided not to use it and honestly, I was not satisfied with the results because I had to write a lot of code while using media queries and designing the page to smaller devices.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I would really appreciate if someone could review my JavaScript code and give me some suggestions or feedback. Thanks. 😊

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I designed the layout easily using CSS flexbox. The Quote Generator API which was provided only generated a quote when the page reloaded so I got a little bit creative and made the generating button to reload the page each time its clicked 😂. Overall, the project was fun, and I believe working with the API's is a major advantage to developers.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I used API before but this one worked different, but I believe the struggling to learn is always worth it and now I know that APIs come in different types with different data and cache.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Any feedback would be appreciated but if you could tell me a way to generate quotes using the provided API other than page refreshing, I would be really grateful.

The Layout was a bit confusing, but CSS's flexbox did the trick.

The Layout was easily designed using CSS flexbox.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I was able to import the figma file which was available, and I even run it, but I had absolutely no idea how to inspect the code or properties used in the design.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

How can I inspect the properties of the different parts of the layout in the figma file?

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

This challenge was way too frustrating for me, and I almost give up but after taking a break for a while I had an idea for the calculation, and I went on with the flow which was successful. I put the whole calculation in a single JS function which was a bit hard to read but then I broke down the function into smaller parts which I surely am proud of how clean my whole code looks like. I started coding as soon as I saw the challenge, but this is absolutely not my recommendation what I like to do next time is that first of all I would learn about the challenge properly and learn a few tips and tricks before I start the challenge.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I started the challenge, but I had absolutely no idea how this should look like. I was just exited to finish this challenge without reading some tips or knowing how this program should function like which was a big mistake and made this challenge way too difficult and frustrating but I somehow managed to complete the challenge. And I won't ever do this mistake again.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I would really appreciate if some expert would review my code and advise me on how I can write better code or what should I change to become better. Thanks.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

Even though I used a lot of Divs in order to maintain a responsive layout I managed to design the layout easily using CSS Flexbox. And also the most important part which was the form validation took quite some time to be figured out. I successfully created a function which did all the validation, but the code was barely readable, so I divided the validation function into smaller parts which made the code much better and it even made the functionality better.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

This whole project was quite a challenge starting from the design up to the validation, but I learned quite a lot, and this really forced me to think a lot about different parts and come out with an algorithm which works perfectly. Definitely worth the struggle.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Some simpler functions or algorithms which would make the validation much easier would be appreciated.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I designed the layout easily by using CSS flexbox. Even though the input validation part took me some time to figure out I managed to finally create a real simple function which does several validation tasks at once. I am so much grateful for the algorithm scripting course I took, and I will put those lessons at use a lot from now on. Also, one mistake that I had in previous challenges was not using line height which caused the text lines a bit difficult to read but I managed to fix this issue and I used the line height property perfectly in this challenge and I really appreciate the difference it made.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

The form validation took me quite some time to figure out, but I managed to solve and create an easy function which does all the job at once. I am so much grateful for courses like freecodecamp which taught me how I should think through different algorithms and figure out a way to solve it.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

The style guide should contain a bit more detail about the layout's design and a bit more guide or a way to think through the functions would be a lot helpful especially for newbie developers.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I designed the layout easily by using CSS Flexbox but the most difficult part was figuring out the different colors used in the design but I managed somehow to successfully figure out most of the design colors.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Figuring out the colors in this challenge was more challenging than I thought it would be even though colors are not necessary way too much, but it helps a lot with creativity and thinking.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

The style guide should contain a bit more details about certain parts of the design especially in the newbie challenges section.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

Once again, I designed the layout easily by the CSS's amazing flexbox feature which did like 60% of the page done. I also figured out how to make a page's background half image and half color which I am sure would be useful in many cases. And finally, I created a JavaScript function which would toggle the display of the answer text on clicking the plus or minus icon and would change the plus or minus icon to opposite according to the display.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

The half image and half color background was a rare challenge but I figured it out by learning a bit more on image backgrounds which background position and size came in handy. The function which would toggle the display of the answer text was also a bit of a challenge, but I figured it out easily by using if and else.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Some more info about the layout's certain designs would be useful especially in the style guide's file.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

By using the CSS Flexbox I could easily design and figure out the layout, and I used the styles guide to recognize the colors and fonts used in the layout. Such an awesome challenge.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Designing the layout can be done in several ways and choosing sometimes can be quite difficult but recognizing a self-preferred way is much more important in designing and self satisfaction.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Some designs are difficult to be figured out but figma really helps in these types of cases.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I simplified the layout by using flexbox and its features and I created some frequently used styles by using CSS variables and custom classes to make stylesheet codes reusable and easy to access. The style guide surely helps a lot to create reusable CSS variables.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

The layout design is a bit challenging but features like flexbox and CSS grids helps designing the layouts more effeciently.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Some parts of the design are difficult to be figured out, while figma design really helps a lot in these types of cases but since it is not available in the free usage some hints would be useful in different parts of designs.
