The mobile menus are always tricky, but it was easier to tackle that after creating components out of blocks of that code.

Code organization and responsiveness of this site. It looks good on mobile and desktop, but not much in between.

I'm proud of taking the lead to refactor this code to use useReducer instead of useState hooks scattered all over the app. I also think I did a decent job completing the challenge to spec.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Managing the state was much more complicated than I anticipated.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I would love feedback on my use of useReducer and the tailwind style on the option buttons.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

The process I developed and followed to complete this challenge was very intuitive. I never felt lost. I alway knew exactly what to work on and test next.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I overcame some tricky CSS problems with the Tailwind group utility and improved the state management in the app with the useReducer hook.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

The app could be a little more modular. I could have also added tests. I didn't do the responsive part of this challenge since the rest of it was so involved.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I'm proud of pushing through the production grade build of this form with shadcn/ui and react-hook-form. There were plenty of opportunities to take short cuts, but I'm glad I stuck with it and made a high quality build.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I thought this was going to be an easier form to build than it turned out to be. Because there was not submit button I need to use the watch method, which I hadn't done before. I need to customize the errors and also coerce the types with zod.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

If anyone has feedback on better ways to leverage react-hook-form with zod and shadcn/ui I am all for it.

My approach lead me to a favorable solution, so I felt like this was a good test.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

No real challenges. The trickiest part was getting the avatar positioned correctly, but that was easily sorted out by negative margin.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Feedback on my CSS in the project is very welcome.

This challenge gave me a chance to use environment variable in NextJS, which I hadn't used before. It also gave me a chance to create a nice grid layout.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I hadn't used environment variable in NextJS before. So I was getting some errors while deploying to Vercel that I hadn't seen before, but now I know exactly how to handle those issues in the future.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I am alway open to feedback on how I'm using Tailwind and NextJS. This specific project gave us a chance to create our own endpoint, so feedback on that is welcome as well.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

The process template I created has sped up my development efforts quite a bit. This was the shortest amount of time I have spent on the initial set up yet.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I wish the Figma Layout were better, but I manage to get through those. I would say that the stack I'm using is serving me well. The more often I use it and the more frequently I use it the better I will get at it.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Feedback on my style and the how I chose to break up the components would be helpful.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

I am proud of myself for facing another challenge. I honestly thought I had thought out the UI pretty well, but once I got into I realized that the responsive design was more dynamic than I anticipated. My refactor wasn't to prettiest, but I believe it was a good balance between a quick pivot and full redesign.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

The footer of the card content was the trickiest part. Getting the size and background color correct between the desktop and mobile didn't come to me in the first pass, but I got there eventually.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I know my TypeScript could be cleaner. I'm sure my Tailwind could have been written more elegantly. I am looking forward to see how others approached this problem.

I recognize that these exercises are a good chance to stretch ourselves to possibly do more work, but I am also curious how people have learned to streamline processes and if there are any tools or libraries you all especially like to leverage. Velocity is very important to my team, so how can we deliver fast without sacrificing quality?
