Good job on completing the challenge and it's great you found it easy! The design is very close to the original one and looks clean. One thing that might be good is changing the colors and/or styles of the attribution - with the dark background I wasn't really able to tell what was written there, so it might be good to put some contrast on it. But overall, great project solution!
Aligned and used the provided styles seamlessly.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?Flex-box and Image resizing - but i'll grasp the concepts completely with more practice. I shall continue coding the site until it looks like the provided one perfectly.
I think the solution looks great and very close to the design on hand. I highly enjoy the way the CSS is structured and cut into chunks, it makes it very clear and readable. If I may suggest one thing, I believe the border-radius
values could be a bit higher on the top image to create a more seamless look with the card component, as well as the box-shadow
expanding in an active state. But those are minor things, all in all it's a great solution.
I'm just happy I know what concepts to look up for while building the project. I hope that next time I'll be comfortable with the basics without having to look them up.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?I had struggled a bit with styling, especially since I'm still trying to figure out things like how flexbox works, how are styles inherited by child elements. Basically, I still have a lot to polish when it comes to my understanding of how CSS implements things.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?Any feedback on my HTML structure and my approach in organizing my CSS is appreciated.
The design is pretty much spot on, I think that is a huge strength. The code is clear and readable to me, and I think it would be easy to reuse it for similar projects as well. I wish I could offer more feedback but as I am still a beginner, I'm also learning similar things along the way - but I think you've got a great foundation for the future here.
