What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?it was quite difficult for me to get the css styling correct and I had to eventuality watch a YouTube video to complete the project.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?CSS styling and responsiveness, although all suggestions on how to improve my overall code is welcomed.

To fix the footer problem, add flex-direction: column; to your body's CSS because display: flex aligns items in a row by default.
It's good that you're using rem units for responsiveness. Consider using rem units for font-size as well for better scalability.

just one thing (certainly an oversight) you have used & div:nth-child(2) twice at the end of your css file and the taget day is not the same (day with the most expense). ..keep the great work.
