Thanks for checking out my dictionary app. This is my first ever React Application. It's taken me a long time to reach this point and I can honestly say I am very proud of myself.

I realize that my desktop and tablet designs do not match the provided design for this challenge. In all honesty, I've just spent too much time on this challenge already. Seeing as how this is my first project using SaSS and my second project using bootstrap, I have to say I'm pretty proud. Also the actual js functionality of the calculator took me forever to figure out so I am proud of that too. I've run out of steam on this project and decided to turn it in the way it is so i can move on. I am finding it increasingly tedious to manipulate CSS for responsive design. I feel like i could sit and stare and experiment and fail for hours and hours and this sometimes doesn't seems like a good use of my time. Any suggestions? Does the CSS get easier with experience?

While i have done quite a few of the newbie challenges on the site, this is my first attempt at a responsive design using relative units and percentages. I did my best to keep the CSS concise. I'd be curious to know if anyone has any best practices suggestions for improving my code. Thank you!

Hello, I was not able to nail down the correct shade of pink for the filter over the image of the laughing computer business women. I tried laying a colored div on top of the picture and setting the opacity lower. I also did the reverse, setting the image on top of the colored div and adjusting the opacity of the image. Neither resulted in a match to the solution provided. Any advice?

Hi, I am pretty certain there are some best practices which i am overlooking. Specifically, I am getting the feeling that a lot of my css is redundant or could somehow be written more efficiently/succinctly. If anyone has the inclination, I'd love some feedback on whether my suspicions are correct, and what i can do to rectify. Thanks!
