I am very proud for constructing an app by taking efficiency and performance as my primary goals. I think that i need to work harder at those sections in order to achieve better results. I love React!
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?Making the app as performant as possible is something that i got struggled with. I need to work harder in order to fully understand some tools for achieving this.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?Learning some hooks like useMemo, useCallback and useReducer and their applications in the context of performance is somethink that i need help with.
P@sophia-seePosted 2 months agoThe app is great! It is fast to loading the data and displaying the items. I just suggest that you can make the whole country card in homepage clickable because currently only the image is clickable. I also found that the border countries were not displayed even though the country has it.

There was a part where setting up the state for result component in the calculator component was giving a typeError, i tried to few times to solve it but couldn't so to solve this, i made the app.jsx the parent state for the result component.
P@sophia-seePosted 2 months agogreat, it is working with form validation. you can use the design to further practice your styling skills.

i like the notification feature. the design was also good with small devices. however, i think the design for larger devices should be updated.

i liked the animation at the start. the implementation was also good. however, i'd like to note that the view image modal's height exceeds the window size height and it can't be scrolled also.

i love how you changed the fonts and font weights based on what you like. it looks good. however, i think the padding for the image controls can be better.
