Another challenge! I'm struggling to make the link and the SVG icon change color at same time when you hover over one of them. I don't know how to do this in CSS. Also for some reason, the event form is not working. The form input is not passing a value. I don't know why. I've been looking at his for hours. I dont get any input value in the console log. If someone can help with this, I will appreciate very much!

Hello, Frontend Mentor community! This is my solution to the News homepage.
I appreciate all the feedback you left that helped me to improve this project. Due to the fact that I published this project very long ago, I am no longer updating it and changing its status to Public Archive on my Github.
You are free to download or use the code for reference in your projects, but I no longer update it or accept any feedback.
Thank you
@outerpreneurPosted almost 2 years agoGreat work! Almost nailing the original. Looking forward to following your steps one day! :)

Another exercise completed!
The accordion was a big challenge but it came out fine, quite happy with the results. there is an accent next to the input arrow, don't know where that comes from.
my real struggle has come with the images. I can't place that floating box horizontally, the same goes for that shadow below the graphic. I also struggle to crop that icon outside of the card.
As for the mobile version, I haven't tried very hard, got really tired after working the accordion but I will look it. I have put everything in one single column, the accordion content is protruding from the card. I also need to place those images right on top of the card.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Best
@outerpreneurPosted almost 3 years agoThank you! Those were great tips. I have been able to do a few improvements, I have added the tags as mentioned above. I have also applied an overflow: hidden and put the shadow pattern as a background image in CSS. What would you use to position the background image right behind the graphic? Thanks again

This is my second project. I have struggled especially with font-weights.. I can't manage to make them work with Google fonts. None of them. I have also used a CSS image background for background. It worked fine but I can't manage to put the picture in the center of the image, as in the example. It has zoomed in when I have used flexbox to vertically align the card container. There is most probably a better way to do this.
I'll be happy to hear suggestions!!
@outerpreneurPosted almost 3 years agoI will look into this and fix it.. also download AXEThank you again!!
