One of my greatest accomplishments was successfully authoring the JavaScript code responsible for implementing form validation and DOM manipulation, which enabled the display of a success state upon completion.

The project presented several challenges, including crafting accessible HTML, optimizing CSS for responsiveness across different screen sizes, and overcoming the complexities of JavaScript implementation. I successfully addressed these challenges through careful planning, testing, and refinement.

I have successfully concluded the development of my Order Summary Component project, employing vanilla CSS and the Flexbox layout model.

Throughout the project's implementation, I acquired proficiency in utilizing the background property to configure the required SVG background.

I developed an interactive rating component utilizing Tailwind CSS. I found Tailwind CSS particularly favorable due to its extensive library of reusable classes, significantly expediting the CSS development process. Additionally, I incorporated some custom CSS for experimentation purposes. The JavaScript implementation presented a noteworthy challenge, as I had limited experience with DOM manipulation. During this process, I acquired valuable insights into utilizing properties such as 'target' and 'innerText' in event handling. I would greatly value any feedback or comments from fellow developers.

During this process, I diligently practiced utilizing common CSS properties such as font-family, height, width, and color. Additionally, I gained proficiency in employing some common and basic flexbox properties like justify-content, align-items, and delved into the realm of responsive design.

I am most proud of successfully completing the Product Preview Component challenge, which was made possible thanks to the guidance and resources provided by Front-end Mentor.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

During the development process, I encountered a few challenges that tested my problem-solving skills. One of the main hurdles was achieving the desired layout and spacing between elements, particularly when it came to aligning the product image, title, and description. To overcome this, I relied on the design specifications provided and carefully examined the spacing and margins used in the reference image. I also utilized the browser's developer tools to inspect and adjust the component's layout in real-time, ensuring that it closely matched the design.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I would love to receive suggestions on how to improve the accessibility of the component.

I am also interested in learning more about best practices for structuring and organizing CSS code, as I feel that my current approach could be optimized for better maintainability and scalability.

The hardest part of the challenge was making the image container turn cyan and align the svg view icon right at the center when activated with the hover pseudo class, so i had to learn how to make an overlay class, be not visible and then turn visible only when hovered.

The shadows around the card were sorta tricky to think about so i had to learn more about the box-shadow property.

Used a lot of flexbox to align elements vertically and horizontally.

I could've used better css practices like using rem's and em's for padding margin or font instead of absolute units like pixels.
