How can I better figure out how big or small an element should be based on the given images?
Is there a better way to build the rating radio buttons?

No i don't so there is a better approach than radio button...i have tried doing it with div tag but it just makes it more complex as you have to write JS for it too :(

Nice work man...but i think u forgot to add a background gradient to the bubble in the result box and also the background color of the body in the original design is white and u have to just use a box shadow at the bottom and right side of the main design....otherwise u did a great job👍
