    🛸 Hello Front-End Mentor Community! I'm Daniel and this is my solution for this challenge! 😊

    🛠️ Built with:

    • HTML 🧾
    • SASS 🎨
    • Tailwind 👾
    • JavaScript 🤖
    • BEM Notation 🅱️
    • Third Party API 🆕
    • Mobile first workflow approach 📲

    The design is simple, but this project gave me the opportunity to practice fetching data from an API, which is new for me. That's my second project working with API. Polishing up my Javascript every day 😊

    Note: Advice is cached for 2 seconds. Any repeat-request within 2 seconds will return the same piece of advice.

    👾 Custom features:

    • Added a little animation on the button when hovered over and clicked.

    Hi Daniel, great looking design. I wanted to ask you a question and this seems to be the only place I can ask, I am sorry If it is not directly related to this challenge. How do you study JavaScript and combine it with doing challenges. If you already studied it before, What approach did you take, did you study to a certain level of competence and then start doing challenges or did you combine it. The reason I am asking is because I just started learning it and I would like to know about some good approached for balance and for it to be effective. Thank you.

    Hey everyone 🙋‍♂️, this is my solution for Rock-Paper-Scissors challenge. I've tried to take the challenge to another level😃.

    What did I try to do?

    • First of all, I put the two modes into the game 📳
    • Many changes in design 🎨
    • I've added some effects & animations 🌟
    • Working on PWA (prograssive web application) to make it downloadable on Win/Mac/Linux/Android/IOS...etc, Maybe you want to try your luck offline in a standAlone application 🚀
    • Using local storage to save the score🎯
    • ability to reset your score 🔄

    I have a few issues with creating this card component.

    • The image of the card was not the same height as the text card even though I tried to inspect with the image height and the classes too.

    I would also suggest not to rush publishing projects until you feel good about them. Discord has really great knowledgeable moderators that are happy to answer any question. That's what I do when I get stuck, which is often. Remember the goal of the challenges is to learn through mistakes and hardships.

    Hi, guys. This is my 5th Challenge solution. The biggest challenge I had here not being able to properly size my image container in the desktop version. I used flexbox on my 2 main elements ,text and picture, but I could not properly give my image the desired width that I wanted (50% of the card) In the end with help from to moderators I was able to find a solution that I needed. The Solution was to give both flex items flex: 1 150% to make them equal size.

    In the initial description of the project where i described the solution to my problem I made a typo, the actual markup is flex: 1 1 50%

    I had a little trouble with the background of Webpage, in the design files given it appeared as if the background SVG was doubled and flipped 180deg with some box-shadow. But I could not replicate it. which resulted in issues when I wanted to center the card

    This was my solution for the background. you wan to give the background color, because the white part is actually transparent. and you wan to give your image Background-repeat:no repeat;

    This is what it looked like for me

    body {
    background-color: hsl(225, 100%, 94%);
    background-image: url(images/pattern-background-desktop.svg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
