I chose to complete this project using React as it's an area i want to focus on. I have done nothing on the responsive side of things or the lightbox gallery but i'm looking for some feedback on my use of components, state management for the cart and general structure of the page.

This is my first dive into using Flexbox to create a layout. I'm really looking for feedback on my use of containers and if I am going in the right direction - should I be using containers within containers within containers etc..?

I've been learning how to look at a layout and identifying where the rows / columns are so feedback if I have approached that would be great also. Really enjoyed this challenge and I will be giving the mobile response a go shortly!

Also, why does the screenshot show the main hero image as very squashed?

I'm still getting to grips with HTML & CSS and how to achieve desired results properly. I'm interested to know if I have approached this correctly and if the methods i'm using are correct, specifically around giving everything a position: absolute and then moving it around with top, bottom, left, right...

Also the screenshot at the top of this page (the slider to compare) isn't accurate of the actual page and the text is deformed - does this indicate this isn't good?

    Thanks

p.s - no mobile site, haven't ventured into media queries yet

I'm very new to front end work and I am currently completing an intensive coding bootcamp. This is my first attempt at a Frontend Mentor challenge & only my second attempt at creating a CSS design. I think I've got close to the spec but I'm sure I didn't do it the "best way" so any advice on that would be great.
