What makes me proud is that I am learning scss and in this project I used scss for the first time. In the next projects, I will try to further optimize the codes and avoid repeating them.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
I didn't face any difficulties as this page was easy to code.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
Mmm… This is my first time working on a menu for the mobile screen. I've always avoided it, but I had to face it and give it a try, which turned out nice.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
The major challenge I had was styling the nav bar for both mobile and desktop screens, but it was fun to work on. I had to watch several videos to understand it, although the drop-down in the design doesn't have a width of 100% like mine does. Additionally, the dropdown on both mobile and desktop screens was initially set to a position of fixed to take up the available screen space. I tried using static positioning, but it created it above the text container in the header, so I had to revert it back to fixed.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?
The functionality and responsiveness are key areas I'm struggling with, as well as positioning. I would really appreciate it if you could go through my code and provide comments on how I could improve for next time.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
I am proud of how the result turned out. If I would re-do this project, I would like to build it with other technologies.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
I always have a hard time figuring out background images. I find it hard to properly place them, and make them scale properly with the rest of the page. With this project the same thing. The background strokes are not responsive to my satisfaction. When I resize to a smaller screen, the strokes will be squiched. So that for me will be a point of improvement.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?
If any of you have any tips on how to do the background images properly, please let me know. I am struggling with this for a long time.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
I'm proud of improving my workflow and focusing on efficiency in order to speed up my completion of this challenge.
I'm proud of using gap values to very quickly create general spacing around elements that approximates the design fairly closely. It isn't pixel perfect, but I didn't need to spend a lot of time adding padding or margins to each individual element. I'm happy with the result.
I used flexbox a lot - even within the button to space/place the icon and text.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
I wasn't sure how to make use of the two main image sizes for mobile and desktop but I searched and learned how to have both img elements in my html and show or hide those elements using media queries in my css.
I tried to define element sizes as little as possible to help with responsiveness. It was a challenging to ignore some of the clear widths and heights in the figma file and use relative values in my css to achieve what I was after.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?
What is considered "close enough" in terms of balancing efficient time use vs pixel-perfect conformity to the design files? Do employers tend to place higher value on exact precision or a quick turnaround time?

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
I learned quite a lot of more refined CSS techniques, such as applying a mask to a background image using pseudo-elements, the fine details of box shadows, and getting flex/grid containers to change based on media queries.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
Getting the overflowing image to look correct was very difficult. In the end, I have toned down the degree of overflow to something which I think looks good at most screen sizes. I achieved this by just setting a large negative margin-left on the image container. But I would be keen to hear of other ways to achieve this effect.
The other thing I couldn't really figure out was the left-aligned footer nav on the desktop design, but I also felt that a centred nav both looked better and was easier to implement, so I just used that instead.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?
Any advice on how to approach the overflowing image or the left-aligned grid footer nav would be very welcome.
I also know my CSS is a bit of a mess, so some organisational tips would also help me a lot.

I would try to use CSS grid for this challenge because I think it's a better approach.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?
I was struggling with responsiveness for this challenge. The website is responsive at mobile (375px) and desktop (1440px) sizes, but it's not entirely responsive on other devices.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?
Responsiveness. Usually, I don't struggle with it, but this time, I spent a lot of time on it and it still doesn't look quite as good as it's supposed to.
