Some recommendations regarding your code that could be of interest to you.

  • Your accessibility report states that all page content should be contained by landmarks. So, in order to fix the accessibility issues, you need to replace <div class="attribution"> with the <footer> tag, and <img> tag should include "alt" = attribute.
  • You'd better use Semantic HTML, and you can also reach more information about it from Semantic HTML and Using Semantic HTML Tags Correctly.

Hope I am helpful. :)

Hello there πŸ‘‹. Congratulations on successfully completing the challenge! πŸŽ‰

  • I have other recommendations regarding your code that I believe will be of great interest to you.

HTML 🏷️:

  • This solution generates accessibility error reports, "All page content should be contained by landmarks" is due to non-semantic markup, which lack landmark for a webpage
  • So fix it by replacing the element <div class="attribution"> the with semantic element <footer> in your index.html file to improve accessibility and organization of your page.
  • What is meant by landmark ?, They used to define major sections of your page instead of relying on generic elements like <div> or <span>
  • They convey the structure of your page. For example, The <footer> typically contains information about the author of the section, copyright data or links to related documents.

iMAGES πŸ“Έ:

  • Since this component involves scanning the QR code, the image is not a decoration, so it must have an alt attribute.
  • The alt attribute should explain the purpose of the image.
  • E.g. alt="QR code to frontendmentor.io"

.

I hope you find this helpful πŸ˜„ Above all, the solution you submitted is great !

Happy coding!

Hey !, how are you ? I really liked the result of your project, but I have some tips that I think you will enjoy:

*The <img> alt attribute is used to specify the alternate text for an image. It is useful when the image is not displayed. It is used to give alternative information for an image. So make sure to make it not empty.

*Use <footer> instead of <div class="attribution">. The <footer> element contains authorship information. Once you update the container <div class="attribution">, the footer should be outside the main content.

*Instead of using pixels in font size, use relative units of measure like rem or em. The font size in absolute length units (px) does not allow users with limited vision to change the text size in some browsers.

The rest is good, I hope those tips will help you! πŸ‘
