I know the feeling. If it's something that it's not essential, just go ahead with the project and finish it. Once done you can always go back and implement what wanted.

Does anyone else struggle with getting an idea about a feature that you could add while you're mid-project, and get sidetracked? I'm going to start enforcing a "I can look into it after I'm done" rule for the time being, but does anyone have any tips for staying on task when this happens?
