You provided a wonderful solution to the challenge
Here are some suggestions for the solution--
1--It seems you forgot to provide hover state conditions for social icons as it were mentioned in the active state jpeg file.
2-- Registerlink overlaps on social icons on smaller screen sizes, consider giving margin-top to .icon class.
3-- Consider using mobile first workflow when you are starting with solution. As it is considered to be the best practice
