Omitted the "get started" section from the boxes as I did not like the look. Other then that, let me know what you think. Done with Sass, flex-box, and grid. Starting to get the hang of grid, but need a little more exploring to build my confidence. I used clamp for the title font's.
Decided to revisit my previous submissions as I learn new concepts. Used SASS, mapping, nesting, and custom variables with this project. If you find anything that could use improvement, feel free to let me know.
I had a difficult time working with the layout. Some of the layouts were achieved with absolute position. As a result, they did not respond the way I wanted them when I minimized the page. I went ahead and decided to leave this project as is. The optimal view here is at 1000px, anything smaller then that the page starts to break. I plan to revisit this project in the future when I get a better understanding of grid box, as I know you can overlay items. I was able to do this with the mid-container background, second pattern, and also the phone image. However, once I started adding other images, grid started acting odd, therefore I opted to absolute position the orange container, which lead to problems with responsiveness. Overall, I am happy with the desktop view.
This one was a fun project, first time building something this size. Built with just flex box. Had a hard time re-creating the purple border-radius. I got it as round as I could, but I am not really happy with it. I decided to omit the light pink border-radius as well, did not know how to approach that one, but over all I am happy with the result.
Project looked simple, but I found it surprisingly difficult. I could not get the opacity to match on the lower right hand container, specifically the font. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
This was a challenging but also a fun little project. It took a little longer than I anticipated, due to the shift of layout that was required. If you look closely, you will notice that the bottom left mobile background image is rounded. I am not sure why, but I did not specify this in my @media code. I think it is inheriting this from horizontal landscape code, I could not figure out how to resolve this.
First project, I had a difficult time with padding, margin, heights, and widths. Specifically, the white space around my QR image was not as close as I would have liked it to be (I tried to reduce the amount of white space surrounding the content boxes). I played around with the padding and content area widths, but I could not get it to match the desired sample image on the project page. Feedback on this issue would be appreciated. Thanks.
