  What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

  I'm really proud on discovering the border styling and text styles.

  What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

  It was hard to align the boxes, and customize them

  What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

  Our challenge is to get our solution to look as close to the original design as possible. So I would recommend:

  1. Reading style-guide.md once again. The exact colors used are there, so you don't have to guess them. Same with font!
  2. Check out the "assets/images" directory. You don't have to use your own images, they are provided for us.
  3. Don't change the text.
  4. Check out the Figma design template that you can download. This way you can check the exact spacing (padding and margin).

  However, you did really well with the card (box-shadow, rounding, outline, padding). It looks close to the original. You just have to work on everything that is inside of it.

  And remember quality over quantity. Take your time. 😀

  This is my first project ever using TypeScript and Vue.js, and I hope I did a decent job.

  Technologies Used:

  • TypeScript
  • SCSS/Sass
  • Vue.js

  Naming Convention:

  • BEM (Block Element Modifier)

  Difficulties Encountered:

  • Media queries: I always find working with media queries to be a pain, especially with Vue components that are reliant on one another. Any suggestions on how to better tackle this are greatly appreciated.
  • Linear-gradient: linear-gradient does not play nice with the transition property, if you have any work around please leave me a comment.

  Questions:

  • Does Vue.js scoped styles make the BEM naming convention redundant ?

  If you have any suggestions on how I can improve my code, I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave a comment. Thank you in advance. (✿◠‿◠)

  I was also looking for a workaround to create a transition between gradients on my second challenge. I found these interesting:

  • Stackoverflow answer (updated 2021)
  • Workaround (from 2017)

  I didn't test them yet. I had enough "fun" after trying to match gradients on my second challenge.
