What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

this is my first time working with an API project. It took me a while to get an idea how to do it. I was proper chuffed after finishing it, and i felt that i learnt a lot after doing this project

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Fixing svg image was really hard. after fixing up and down for a while, i ended up adding transform translate onto the svg image and somehow it worked.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

I would love you to take a look at my code and give me an idea of how to fix it. Much love!

hi! I am kinda excited so say this is the first time i managed to do a project using both tailwind and vite/react together. I have done them individually, but this is the first time combining them into one. Apart from having to ask ChatGPT about the calculation part with useState and react, i think i did it well

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

    • aside from javascript part, it took me a while to be able to fully set up the project and deploying it live on github.
    • My CSS tailwind is pretty bad on this one imo.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Maybe about the sizing of the components

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

This is the first time i ran and deploy a website live with vite and react so i was struggle with it for quite a while. And this is also my first time trying out react so i hope i didn't do it too messy. Overall, although it is still mediocre, i am pretty happy that i can finish the project.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

the js and css was mercier to me than the previous challenges. But the main issues i had was deploying it live. Fixing the image paths, etc... The SVG image was the most challenging part, after a few hours, i decided to linked the image directly to svg file path, instead of wrapping it inside img src as usual

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

i would love to be shown another way of handling SVG image.

    Hello! It's me, JackFrost again.

Today, after a few projects using tailwind, i had a much better understanding of it in comparison to a few days ago.

This project went much smoother than what i expected.

Overall this was a really entertained challenge to do, i had learnt a lot during completing it. Next time i'll try to do it even faster

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

As a fun experience, i tried doing the dark/light theme button.

It does function, but i am still confused about which part of the grid card's color should be changed so ended up leaving it from now.

Also, I was struggled a while with the color assignment in tailwind config, as the customized color didn't get applied on to the JSON data files, so i ended up assigned those color onto input.css file.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Maybe a few tips for the dark/light theme toggle button

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

well, i am proud to say my first time trying out tailwind css in a project ended up decently xD. I expected it would have gone much worse.

I should have changed min-width for grid section to a bit higher. Maybe 900-1000px range

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

choosing tailwind for this grid section was a bad idea tbh. since the 5 card could have been finished faster with inserting class, and changing 5 of them as a whole.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

idk why but when i use grid in tailwind, the padding bottom / margin bottom just disappear. Been searching for it but can't find any solution to fix it. I hope i can hear some tips and tricks about it

find out that i should have used margin: 0 auto earlier

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

it took me a while to center that header

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

CSS background was hard to do. I ended up learning a lot from a youtube video guide

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Idk why i can display the phones' background image in vscode but it failed to load in github's live page. I'll find out more about it

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

If you can take a look at my project and codes, i hope i can be shown why the background image of the phones weren't loaded.

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

adjusting the position of the credit cards was hard. Although i had to watch guides and youtube vid about this challenge, im proud that i was able to nail it decently

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

The CSS was really hard with this one. I had a really bad time adjusting the position of the credit cards and eventually have to watch youtube videos to do that part. Same goes the string format, i still need to learn more about it.

Other than that, the html and js structure was straightforward.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

Maybe the CSS i guess? Idk if it needs any adjustments or not haha

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

So this is the first time i tried media query for responsive web design. God , that was painful. It took me like 5 hours, doing and learning from my mistakes. A true test to HTML and CSS skill. JS has been merciful this time i guess.

I will add more details into this project (thinking of JS for each link in the nav). At this challenge, today, i guess i'll just stop here

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

media queries. It took me a really long time starting get used to it

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

    Media queries

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

One of the hardest ones i have done so far. I spent like 5+ hours searching and doing this challenge up and down.

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

Like, a lot. I have to watch and search for youtube and gemini a lot during the challenges. Eventually i could have done it if it was not for the leap year.

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

JS explaination/ insight. This js's way of thought was from 1 of the youtubes video (suivez) , as i gave up on doing the calculations with leap year and validation red italic part.
