I faced a challenge in styling the hidden social links for the laptop screen in my project. Thanks to the code from @KapteynUniverse, I was able to overcome this hurdle and achieve the desired functionality.

Padding and margin are perfect. I think you did not give the cards a height. I guess that made them to have different heights. Maybe it is the page realignment that changed the height.
