  I always create a responsive.css file, in it I put:

  @media(max-widht: xxxpx) { # xxx = The maximum width of the device

  .recipe{
         margin: o%;  
         }
  

  }

  You can use an extension like responsive view to see the result. So change as you find more responsive. I hope I helped.
