Hey, nice work went through your css and figured it out. The reason it seems like your media queries aren't working it cause you have grid-column and grid-row set on each individual element
so you could change each one in your media queries or use a css selector to select all the children of <div class='container'>

Hey, just recently did this challenge myself and for the slider button i used
<input type='range' min='1' max='100' value='1'/> this way you pass the current value of the slider into a function in js and then use the mousemove(or touchmove for mobile) eventlistener and then for changing the theme you could add a class to your body tag depending on the position of the slider then and have a different set of variables in your css for each of the classes

being my first time coding a html page, the results was not bad, manage to get close to the requested result

What specific areas of your project would you like help with?dynamic scaling and positioning of items, i had trouble making the QR code image follow the size of the container box, where the text would be wider than the qr code and the result end up a whack
Considering this is your first time, it's pretty good work one advice i'd give is to avoid using pixels (px) and stick to more responsive length units like rem or em
Also using things like css grid or flex help with positioning and scaling items more effeciently and relative widths(which ensure that your containers scale up or down)
But seeing as you're just starting off, Nice 👍
It's amazing. You go through and double and triple check everything and it all looks good. Then as soon as you post it you notice all the things that you missed.
