Feedback on how I structured the styling would be much appreciated.

Specifically, was this an efficient structure? If not, any tips on how to make this more efficient?

Areas I'm looking to improve:

Best practices for structuring my styles (in this case, SASS)

• is it sufficient to extract resets and variables from the main styles, as I did?

Best practices for structuring my react code

• I feel like I have quite a few 'states', is this unneeded?
