    i did some stupid things im sure but thats because i couldnt figure it out so i did the long way im pretty sure in the future i could make a better version if you guys can suggest any thing for me

    Just some suggestions:

    1. Some CSS classes and IDs could be clearer, for example, "submit-button" instead of "subm".
    2. There are several consoles.logs still in the code, don't forget to remove those once you are 100% done.
    3. Lastly, you could try to implement this again using a framework such as React, it will give you a better perspective on what devs are currently working with.
