First time I worked on a project like this took me like 1 week to complete it, now it took me like 20 minutes

Hi! Here is my solution but it's kinda faulty 'cause you must click twice so it works, after that, it works normally. I know there must be a more efficient way to write the JS code but I could not figure out how. Any advice is very welcome, please!

Hi! This is my second project on frontendmentor, the hardest part for me was to position the footer and I culdn't figure on how to send it to the botton-center of the page
