  I used desktop-first approach for this, and now I know for sure that mobile-first approach is best.

  Pls, I didn't get the hover above the Equilibrium image, any solution to that?

  You can use ::before and ::after on image-box to get the hover above the Equilibrium image. I hope this will help you.
