Hi guys! I twisted this challange a little and tested my backend skills too and made an API to get the data. I wrote the backend application in Java using the SpringBoot framework, and storing the data in a MySQL database in my local environment, and PostgreSQL for the deployed app. If you are curious you can find the URL of the backend app's GitHub repo in the README of my UI application. For the frontend I used Angular and TailwindCSS.
The first big challange was to implement the filter bar, it contains an input field and you can add the filter tags by entering some text and pressing enter. The hardest part of it was to make it responsive and keeping it good looking even with long texts or lot of filter tags.
The second big challange I was facing was the deployment of the applications. I needed to find a platfrom where I can deploy a SpringBoot application and host a database server too. My choice was Render. The free database only lasts 3 months and the resources in the free web service host are very little, so it's a little slow, but it's completely free so I'm not complaining. I deployed the frontend application to Vercel, that's my usual choice for Angular apps, but instead of deploying from the github repo I tried out the CLI way of the deployment now.
