  What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

  Not much this time around. Just happy that I finally got around to understand what all those double underscores and double dashes I've seen in code snippets in the past were.

  What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

  As far as challenges go, the whole idea of elements and modifiers in the BEM methodology is still not super clear to me yet.

  What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

  Knowing if I used the BEM methodology correctly. I didn't use any Modifier for this challenge and that makes me think I'm probably not doing the BEM thing quite right.

  What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

  I'm proud to have completed this project using Grid, as I typically work with Flexbox. Next time, I would adopt a mobile-first approach.

  What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

  The challenges I faced were primarily related to using grid layouts, which I overcame by utilizing a helpful tool called CSS Grid Generator.

  What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

  I would like help on how to use the grid and how to use the mobile-first approach.

  I'm very proud to have completed this challenge effortlessly and quickly. Next time, I should consider adopting a mobile-first approach.

  What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

  The challenges I face involve media queries and website responsiveness, but I manage them using the browser's developer tools.

  What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

  I'd appreciate some guidance on maintaining the mobile-first approach for this project, particularly with regards to responsive design techniques in HTML and CSS.

  What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

  I would use more dynamic methods I learnt for making responsive layouts next time. Since this was already coded and completed a year ago, I've used very basics of css to design this page.

  What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

  During the coding process, I was still familiarising myself with the area, so took lot of references and hints from google searches and chat gpt

  What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

  What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

  Wins:

  • Fastest development of solution due to pre-planned process
  • Minimized repetitive processes
  • Used Chrome Developer Tools to analyze design in the absence of a Figma file to follow

  Improvements

  • Improve the website by adding functionality via Javascript or at least use anchor tags to link to the social pages

  What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

  Wins:

  • I approached this project by first laying out the steps I was required to take which increased efficiency compared to the last project
  • Being able to create an "active state" by using CSS "hover"

  Improvements:

  • Initially wanting to incorporate Bootstrap components but realizing that it was impacting the styles I had already applied to some elements
  • Determine the frameworks and libraries I want to use only if deemed necessary

  What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

  • Bootstrap affecting my styles and requiring a complete reassessment

  What specific areas of your project would you like help with?

  When to use different frameworks or tools like Bootstrap, React, Grid, Flexbox, and others.

  What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

  I am proud of finishing a project, instead of solving it and leaving it halfway.

  What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

  I encountered styling and deployment challenges and overcame them by trying out other methods of styling and being specific about which repository I was deploying to the live URL.
