Congratulations on finishing this project! You really did a great job! What I could say on your final layout is it looks bigger than the original, that is what I just noticed. But, overall you did great!

I'm proud that I completed this wonderful challenge. Focused on making the product card more responsive to different devices.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?I didn't encounter any challenge. It was smooth.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?Nothing for now.
@arnoldpam11Posted about 1 month agoCongratulations! You did a great job on this. But there is still a lot to improve, what I could say is that try to practice more on sizes such as widths and heights it would be so much easier for you to take a new challenge to make it more similar to the original. Additionally, I noticed that you did not follow the mobile screen responsiveness, try to practice mobile design. But, overall you did amazing!

This project does make me realize that I'm still lacking the design skill. When I first looked at the recipe page, I thought of a layout in my head. However, when putting the idea that I had into practice, I struggled so hard to kind of make the card to align center of the web page which I eventually completed it but took quite sometime. What I learned from this project is to practice more on the layout and how to implement it in a better way.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?As I already mentioned, the only challenge that I faced was to think of the layout in a more structured way.
@arnoldpam11Posted 2 months agoHello Iceish96! You did a great job on this project. It really shows how dedicated you are to learning web development. However, there's still room for improvement. While reviewing your project, I noticed that you used an internal CSS stylesheet, which is considered bad practice. Additionally, avoid using pixels and fixed widths/heights for layouts, as this can make your design non-responsive on smaller screens. Instead, use em, rem, and max-width/height. You can learn more about responsiveness here: https://bit.ly/47xg8R2
Moreover, I recommend using HTML semantics, as it's a good practice compared to using generic div elements. Lastly, you're doing great—keep it up!

I'm really proud of how I managed to implement several new techniques in the recent challenge, like using the :root pseudo-class to create customizable variables for reuse throughout the project. I plan to continue using this approach in the future. While I'm not entirely sure if I did it perfectly, I hope to improve with time. Additionally, I'm proud of myself for finishing this challenge. Although I was initially stuck and considered giving up, I decided to push through and learn. I also used other people's source code as a reference and learned from their methods.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?At the beginning, I struggled with creating customizable variables since it was a new concept for me. While I knew I could use them for colors, I wasn’t sure if they could be used for text presets. I researched the topic and discovered that it was indeed possible. To figure it out, I reviewed source codes from others on this platform, watched tutorials on YouTube, and read through various documentations.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with? There are a few areas where I could use some help, particularly with creating media queries and using the :root class. I'm not entirely sure if I've implemented these correctly and would appreciate guidance from someone with more expertise.
