Although I have built responsive websites, I found this one difficult. I used grid-template areas but I am unsure that It won't look good on screen sizes between 800px to 1400px. I want to know how I can fix that.

1 - Did not understand at first how the colors were used. later used alpha values and it worked. 2 - I am unsure of how the typography was aligned vertically in the button and the input. 3 - are utility classes and reset values important in small projects such as these?

1- Assuming the actual width and properties of elements was a bit challenging. 2- I am unsure whether I have written an efficient code or not. 3- There are couple of doubts about best practices and whether I am practicing them or not.
