i don't understand properly whats padding and border.. i get margin will let the element apart but what exactly is padding and border?? they seem same

first thing's first, good job! it looks good! I agree css is hard! The difference between border and padding... Padding moves an element without concern for other elements Margin moves an element relative to other nearby elements Border is the space between the padding and margin. Usually you'll use it when you want it to be visible and to define the size of the border.
