Excellent result! HTML and CSS is also clean and organized well. The only thing I might add is some additional effects or functionality for the blog preview card (which is optional). Otherwise, great job!

Good project!
HTML is fairly clean and CSS is well organized. I also approve of the use of CSS variables, and they help make the page easier to update as it expands in scope.
The only areas of improvement are to clean up both files by removing the defaults/starter markup on the files. Finally, if you have the time, removing the default text from the README would help with the presentation of the repository on GitHub.
