I’m proud of successfully completing a visually appealing and responsive blog preview card. This project challenged me to apply fundamental concepts of HTML and CSS while also thinking about real-world design practices like typography, spacing, and responsive layouts. Next time, I would focus more on optimizing the code for maintainability and scalability.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?As someone early in my web development journey, I frequently find myself looking up fundamental concepts, such as linking a stylesheet or adding a favicon. While this initially felt time-consuming, I’ve come to see it as an integral part of the learning process. To overcome these challenges, I’ve adopted a structured approach: I document each new step or concept I learn to create a personal reference guide. This helps me reduce the time spent searching for the same information in future projects. I’m confident that as I continue practicing and building projects, these tasks will become second nature, allowing me to focus more on design and functionality.
