first challenge on here just thought I'd dip my feet in. I'd love any feedback anyone might have.

I've had a hard time in the past working with images. I used a background image with an empty div for this one... does anyone know if that's a good or bad practice. I'd rather not have an empty div if possible but sometimes working with normal images isn't nearly as easy as it is with a background image.
