I finally got the grip on grid. I used mobile first workflow this time.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?I had a challenge placing my footer at the bottom in the previous challenge, and thanks to a comment on it I was able to handle this one well.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I am quite proud of myself here. I think I did a good job, but any helpful note or comment would be much appreciated.
What I am most proud of in this project was my logical approach. I designed it to review all the HTML and CSS content I had revised in the past week, so I am proud that I did not need to consult any online resources to clarify doubts
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?The greatest challenge I encountered was one I set for myself: implementing a dark mode on this simple page using JavaScript. Nonetheless, I managed to do it with relative ease after thinking for a few minutes. However, I believe there might be a way to achieve it with fewer lines in the CSS
The other social links should have the same hover effect has that of the Linkedin profile link.
This is first time I use local fonts. Next time I will try using transitions and dive deeper in local fonts in case of finding better and faster way of implementing them.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?In given assets there was fonts
directory and it was first time I saw how they look and did not know how to implement them. After searching on internet for possible solutions I found a lot of links that are really helpful and step by step guide me to accomplish of implementing fonts.
In this 'design' challenges we can approach in any way. I am satisfied with my solution but there is one thing that bother me. When we hover link/title of component, component change header color and card shadow should be doubled. My approach was using transitions but there is not (an easy) way of manipulating parent. I would be really grateful if someone show me how to do it or explain me other better way for this (and similar) situations.
