I felt like I was a lot more comfortable doing this without looking at guidance. I did use the previous project, however, as reference many times. I'm hoping that as I build more and more projects, I would get more comfortable and would be able to build, at least, the foundation without looking at too many resources. But I am a lot more satisfied with how I tackled this project more than the previous.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?I felt like I didn't run into too many problems with this one. I got a little stuck with aligning the author name with their picture correctly. I also had a dumb moment where I couldn't figure out how to round the edges of the image. But it was just very simple things I was overlooking, and all it took was just looking through my code. The only thing that I'm still having consistent troubles with is Git and Github. But I think I'm getting it down after looking through many forum posts and Github resources.
What specific areas of your project would you like help with?I think I need more help understanding Git and using Github. Obviously, these two things are going to be very important when getting a job, so I'd appreciate any resources that might help with learning and understanding them more. Aside from that, I think I just need more practice using HTML and CSS. Conceptually, I understand most of it, but a lot of the properties just don't come to mind, and while I can understand how to read CSS, actually building with CSS is still very uncomfortable.
