I’m concerned that I may have overengineered certain aspects of this application. Additionally, some late changes to the layout impacted existing styles and prop passing. Any feedback on how the project could be streamlined or simplified would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to know how I could be utilizing React more efficiently! Also It has been a while since I worked front-end and feel my a11y practices might be a little rusty and could possibly be improved.
Also I have been using jQuery for sometime now and am working on improving my vanilla JS where possible.
