What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?
I am most proud of building a high-performance, interactive web platform using a modern tech stack that includes Strapi, React, and Next.js witn Docker and Nginx. The integration of advanced animations with GSAP and mapping functionality with Mapbox added a dynamic user experience.
What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?- GraphQL Integration: Initially, designing and consuming the GraphQL API was complex. By leveraging tools like Apollo Client and debugging queries thoroughly, I was able to streamline the process.
- Strapi Customization: Customizing Strapi’s content model to meet unique project requirements required diving deep into its plugin architecture. Iterative testing and referencing the documentation helped overcome these challenges.
- Docker and Deployment: Setting up the Docker environment with Nginx for production presented configuration issues. These were resolved through community resources and careful troubleshooting.
I would like feedback and assistance in the following areas:
- Optimizing GraphQL queries for better performance.
- Enhancing the flexibility and scalability of Strapi CMS and Docker for larger projects.
