Design comparison
Solution retrospective
I tried to go as fast as possible to build this, just as a personal challenengs. I still have some blind spots surrounding the media queries and responsive design, though here it seems to work.

For a quick build this is a pretty solid site. The only things I'd change is the spacing of items from the edge of the screen (on desktop) and the choice of placing the logo outside of the main tag in your html. This site doesn't really have a footer or navbar (or much content at all) so I feel like it should just be included in the main (unless you have some specific reason to exclude it from the main).
P.S. Out of curiousity, how long did this quick build take?
1@mreed4Posted about 1 year ago@Zy8712 I would estimate 35-40 minutes. "A lot" of the time is spent eyeballing the sizing of everything, then getting it as close as possible. I use and pay for Copilot, so that is definitely helpful.
Thanks for the feedback on the spacing. I think the fix here is to add a
padding
ormargin
tobody
. The generic reset I use in speed builds sometimes has unintended side effects.0
