vanilla html/css media query & flexbox responsive design

Didn't go as smooth as I expected which means I learned more than I expected! Great challenge! I hope somebody puts her through the paces all the way up to 1440! I think she moves pretty well. And I would love some comments on the code.... semantics, optimization, anything.... just realized i have some unused class names that can be eliminated, i'll get to that.
