The solutions follows a bit of HTML semantics, I also made those error in mine, so its the learning process. The layout is okay but he needs a nudge to make it even better. The code is fairly well structured might be reusable. I think the solution stays in line with the design.
Generally I think this is a start and better will be done given more time to practice.
