Solution retrospective
My first attempt at writing javascript. I did need the assistance of a couple of youtube lessons for technical help as this was my first go at actually trying to uderstand how javascript works.
Need to do more to get up to speed, but quite happy with my result.
Added a couple of personal touches to the css hover effects also.
