What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I did introduce an extra challenge for myself. I implemented fake network delay on data fetching to add it a "real" feel. To avoid empty screen and layout shifts on data fetching I built a skeleton screen.

great project, but function fakeNetwork just made it slower.

That's the whole point of fakeNetwork. It's faking network delay that generally exists on the web. Probably, I don't need it on gh-pages, but that was useful on local server where delay is almost 0.
