Time tracking dashboard on Next.js with API fetching and placeholder
Design comparison
Solution retrospective
In this project, I created two API endpoints using Next.js: one for user profiles and one for timing data. This was my first time working with Next.js and creating API endpoints, so it was a great learning experience for me.
To improve the user experience, I implemented skeleton placeholders while the data is loading from the server. This provides users with a visual indication that data is being loaded and helps to reduce frustration while waiting for the page to load.
Overall, I am satisfied with the project and the new skills I learned. I am open to feedback and suggestions for improvement.
