Hello Daniel,
Just wanted to let you know a few that may or may not be helpful going forward, lol.
In terms of time (how long it takes you to finish the project), I think it is supposed to take you a few days in the beginning. You're doing things you've never done before and it will lots and lots of repetition until you can start flying through some of the easier challenges. But I really wouldn't stress about how long it takes you, rather I'd focus on understanding the fundamental concepts and how to best implement them into your projects.
And I think you can pretty much apply the same mindset when it comes to flaws and such. Like yourself, I am still at the beginning of this journey and I am constantly fighting that feeling of trying to be flawless... The thing about code is that it can always be rewritten, improved upon, etc.... So just focus on getting better instead of being perfect...
